I was kidding, but there is a danger in getting too "anal" about cars. In the eighties a friend I worked with bought a new Porche convertible. From the day he bought it he did nothing but worry about it. He was constantly looking out the window to check on his car and any time anyone got within twenty yards of it he would get upset. He never wanted to park it anywhere because he was always worried about it getting a door ding or someone vandalizing it. My dad owns a flawless '55 T-bird, a #1 car that wins best in show at every meet he takes it to. The problem is that it's so perfect he doesn't dare drive it--one stone chip and it's no longer perfect and the value goes down significantly. The point I was trying to make is that it is very easy to get so caught up in the desire for perfection that something that should be giving you great pleasure ends up giving you grief and worry. It's summer, put the top down and have fun!
