Hi, that my yesterdays post :
Hi,
I just tried to start my saab 900 spg after about half a year of not using it. Before I did not had any problems with the car.
Well the car cranks up fine and idles good. But when accelerating the rpms go to about 2000 and drop, go up again and drop.
I tried to disconnect everything (airflow meter, knock sensor, throttle position sensor etc.) but no sign of any chance, I disconnected one sparkplugcable and installed a new sparkplug (outside) to see if the spark/ignition is being cut, but also that does seem to be the problem, at least I do not see the spark disappear when the rpms drop.. HELP !!
For your info … the car has a external BOV, external manual fuel pressure regulator and a manual turbo pressure regulator.
Can that be a fuelpump problem ? its like a pressure / fuelcut at about 2000 rpm … no matter if the throttle is being pressed down hard or slow.
Please any hints ?

Afterwards I received post about fuel pump problems .. well today I checked the pump .. there was no unusual noise, I also tested the flow power as of bentley manual ... within 15 sec I had about a liter, so that test passed well (Bentley staed min. 0,9 liter in 30 sec.)
I disconnected the high pressure fuel cutoff ... I disconnected the APC system, I checked voltage of fuel pump and coil (steady 12-13 volts, even when engine us missing / lowering rpm ) ..
PLEASE any help ... how can I check if it is the ECu ?!
