I have been experiencing some sluggish acceleration and it seems to be taking about 4 - 5 seconds for the engine to turn over when starting. When it hits about 3000 rpm's it really takes off. I have no problems with boost. I disconnected the APC solenoid to see what boost was like and that test passed. A while back the APC Solenoid was "clacking" continuously regradless of I was accelerating or decelerating. And of course it stopped when you step on the brake. That seems to have gone away or maybe it has stopped working altogether. I have checked all vacuum lines (atleast the ones I can see from the top of the engine). I have changed spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter. I put Chevron Techron in the tank to clean injectors. I inspected the AMM and I am not sure what to look for on that. I did notice that there was was a fine wire inside of it that forms a three sided square. I am wondering if it supposed to have a section of wire to make a fourth side. I do have a flashing SRS light on the dash that turns solid after a few minutes. Other than that, I can figure out what needs to be done.
Any help would be appreciated.
