Car broken into - need single new lock

Hello
Over the summer I and some friends have been changing the head and turbo of my '87 four door. This week, someone burglarised our workshop and my car, stealing all our tools and made a good shot at bringing the car along too. The driver door lock has been gutted with a knife and rendered useless, and the entire cylinder assembly yanked out. They also tried to open the ignition switch covers, but thankfully failed to damage the assembly.
Following this depressing affair, I thought it'd be easy for my Saab dealer to get me a single new lock. No such luck, they only come in complete sets for the entire car they say. Is this true? Price tag: $400! Needless to say I'm looking for alternatives, including used uncoded locks, as an extra key won't bother me. Is there any dealer on the web that could help me with this?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Jimmy Schmincke
