Somebody must've spiked the coffee today.
Definitely have the timing belt replaced if it hasn't been done yet. They do break and will bend a lot of valves (costing a heap of money) when they go. I think that somebody replied to your post over on the General board with the nominal service intervals for timing belt replacement.
Good luck with it. I have liked a lot of the N(ew) G(eneration) 900 design details.
