Jamex/SPG springs & shocks... Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] (#829) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JustinHiFi) on Wed, 13 Aug 2003 21:33:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I recently grabbed up a set of red Jamex springs for my 900. I currently have SPG springs in there, but want a lower, tighter feel. Upon measuring the springs, I found some interesting things...
SPG (Per Bentley)
F-11.8"
R-11.5"
Jamex (Vertical, End To End of Coil)
F-12.7"
R-12"
Now, from what I gather, the Jamex are supposed to be tigher and lower than SPG springs. With these measurments, how is this possible? Anyone currently using Jamex? What shocks do you run?
Thanks!
