I trashed the factory amp after i realized that my kenwood 4x40w head unit kicked it into next week-however, the factory rear speakers are 2ohm i think, so i replaced them with $100 kenwood 4x10's-sounds great now. The wiring for the speakers is intercepted under rear seat-you have to remove center consol to lay new cable, and forget about the cd player/equaliser-my cd player would only play first halve of disc anyways. The space under the drivers seat is good for multiplayer. By the way, the factory amp when removed leaves a perfect spot for a compact dvd player, which you can use to play mp3's. The screen placement is up to you, i disassembled my 7" screen and built it into my passenger side sunvisor-not easy, but well worth it. The cd/equalier spot can then be used to create an auxillary contol panel, volt meter, av's, etc. Have fun!!
