Here's a solution for you and your neighbors........ Try routing the mufflerless exhaust system up into the interior of the car, that way your neighbors will not complain and you should be able to hear the loud performance sound that you are looking for.
Use a 2 7/8ths hole saw to cut a hole in the floor right behind the driver's seat. From under the car, cut the exhaust system at that point and clamp a 90 degree elbow onto the system and run it into the hole. From inside the car, clamp on a siamese (one into two adaptor) to split the system into two upright dual exhausts, ending on either side of the driver's side headrest. A 45 degree bevel cut on the exhaust tips would finish it off nicely. You could chrome the interior parts, or just spray paint them in wrinkle finish black. Midas should be able to help you cut and bend the interior parts. See your Bentley manual, or check the Townsend site for specifics.
I hope that you can make the next SAAB Owners Convention with this setup, I really want to see your red neon ground effects installation. Be there!
