I have a 1989 saab 900 turbo automatic that is for sale. It is an automatic with 152000. I ahve had the car since about 75,000 miles. Since I have had the car for the last 5 years it has had nothing but mobil 1 synthetic oil in it, transmission fluid has been changed every 4,000. Here is a list of what I have done to it over the last few years:
New heat shield - 2001
New KYB shocks front and rear - 2001
New timing chain and timing chain tensioner - 2001
All new upper and lower ball joints for front - 2002
All new rotors and brakes - 2003
Right front wheel bearing - 2002
Left front wheel bearing - 2003
New inner and outer cv joints driver side - 2002
new inner drive cup on passenger side - 2002
new inner tripod bearing on passenger side - 2002
change gear box oil - 2002
flushed break fluid - 2003
new power steering pump - 2002
new rear calipers - 2002
new driver side parking break cable - 2002
new dash bulbs - 2003
new DOT head lights - 2002
new radiator - 2002
new coolant pump - 2002
all new radiator hoses - 2002
new tires - 2002
new snow tires with 1 winter - 2001
All new belts, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, air filter - 2003
new muffler - 2003
new rotor front and rear and break pads - 2003
New transmission gasket and cover - 2002
New wipper rack - 2003
new brake light switch and cruise brake switch - 2002
New hood emblem - 2002
New A/C condensor - 2002
All of the above parts were either from eeuroparts.com or the local saab dealer. I have done all the maintance my self so it is done correctly. I also have a bentley repair manual to go with the car.
My wife wants me to get ride of the car becuase we know have 4 with the purchase of our 2003 saab 9-3 arc.
What do people think is a good price.
I have pictures. If some other saab owner would like it the only things left to do to are the headliner and the dash and one last hose to get the AC working. I am currently driving this car as a daily drive.
