Did you try cleaning the contacts in the back of BOTH units and their
respective locking boxes. They slowly get gunked up. Use a good
contact cleaner. Also there are some fuses in the back of the radio's
locking box. I bet you have a blown fuse. Remove units first, then
pry the top and bottom edges of these locking boxes towards each other,
then pull locking box out. This will make it easier to work on.
