The clutch pedal has little resistance and the clutch does not engage fully when my 87 900T (175,000 miles and still kicking) is started. I have to force the stick to move it into gear and the throws are very notchy with ocassional grinding. As the engine temp goes up (15 minutes or so), the resistance in clutch pedal improves and the shifts become smooth. The tranny is a rebuilt Ericsson with about 15,000 on it, the clutch master cilinder was replaced approx. 8,000 miles ago, clutch has 30,000 miles and was in good shape when tranny was replaced. Some ideas I have are: a bad slave cylinder, or a defective master. Anyone had similar experience and or ideas on what to do? Thanks for your input.
