'90spg:
I purchased a CV joint for a '89 <cheaper> and pulled the ABS pick-up ring from CV joint pulled from the car. All went well... heated the CV joint and popped the ring and placed it (while still warm) on the new CV joint. I was thinking that as the ring cooled it the fit would tighten... but it's just not as tight as I think it should be. Should the ring fit tight? Should I use "Locktite" before fitting it in place? Would compression tighten the fit?
