trouble starting -- bad battery?

hey guys. i've been having trouble starting my '85 saab 900T 16v lately. usually it's after it sits for 2-3 days, but a couple weeks ago i pulled into a gas station, parked my car and ran in to grab a soda. 10 minutes later i went back out and my car wouldn't start -- had to jump it w/ my portable jumper.
today i tested the voltage at the battery terminals when the car is off: in between 12-13v. then, with the car running, it was in between 14-15v. i turned it off, left the voltometer hooked to the battery and pulled each fuse one by one. no voltage drop with any of them.
is it possible that something's shorting out somewhere, despite the fuses? and is there anything else i should try before assuming that the battery's gone bad? (a bad battery really wouldn't surprise me at all -- i believe this is the same battery that took the abuse from a worn voltage regulator. it and both of my front headlights. hehe.)
