it's California smog time again, '87 900T--- this time I have to take it to a "test only" station, rather than my friendly local test/repair/service station. My question is, does anyone out there know how strict these places are with the visual inspection? Engine is clean, will pass emissions without any problem, BUT--- I now have (1) a K&N cone filter, (2) Bell rrfpr, (3) aquamist water injection. If I am going to get hassled over these items I can take them off and re-install afterwards, but obviously I would rather not.... any advice/ experience on this? This is in the Bay Area, so it is still smog1 (just HC, CO, no NOX or dyno)...
