I myself recently bought a 1994 conv. and find the cover to be a very attractive accessory. Yes, it does take a few extra minutes to put on (securely) but it's worth the time. I've heard stories of boots flying off in the wind because they were not put on correctly which can be a costly mistake if done in haste. The real question concerning whether or not to put it on depends on if you are going to do a lot of city driving vs. highway driving, with the weather being a factor as well. The getting in/out of the car and feeling comfortable stepping away from it with the top down is something that I often ponder. You cannot just quickly let the top up if you need to "run inside the store" with the boot on. I see my car as having a much more "fuller" look to it with the boot on. I tend not to use it very often because I'm in and out of my car too much. I'd say, if the price is right, it comes with the carrying case, and fits your budget then go for it! Happy Trails!
