If you have tweaked your APC, so that your are getting rubber in second and even third gear, you can get squirrely handling because Saabs don't have limited slip differentials. This can happen even if suspension is well sorted and is just uneven traction.
However, as blkice said, any bad suspension components will magnify the problem. A bad tie-rod end will cause pull and wandering under moderate power. Bad ball joints and control arm bushings can also cause the car to "lead" under power.
