I lowered my power seat a little

I don't know how smart this was but I took my power seat out and flipped it upside down. Then I put a flat head between the coils of the seat springs and forced one coin to expand. I did this for each coil.
Bad things:
1) obviously weaken coil
2) can not get each coil to open the same amount
3) could create hammock type seat bottom
Good things:
1) seat is lower by 1/3 inch and my hair doesn't rub against ceiling.
2) I can switch the springs from passanger seat if it really bugs me.
More will be determined later.
