Fuel lube is a honey cosistancy stuff that we use on all pipe thread fuel fittings to help prevent the fitting from leaking and allows the fitting to go on easy, this is primarly on the carberator drain, it is supose to help prevent leeks, I've always made sure the fitting was in good shape and tight so that it dosen't leak though so I am not sure how well it does at stopping a leak.
