My friend locked my keys in the car and gave me the keyless-entry fob so I could get back in (long story). Unfortunately, the battery died because he left the parking lights on.
A helpful UPS man said he could get in with no trouble. He pulled the passenger-side window back far enough to be able to reach in WITH HIS HAND and unlock the door. It took him a while, and required an accomplice, but it seemed way too easy. The alarm would have sounded, of course, had the battery not been dead.
Are windows just naturally looser on older cars?
