Since it is your first.....take your time and label everything. Go to the saabmaster.com site also for some good instructions. Under the technical bullitens there is a section on ventilation(I think)...anyway...look for instructions on replacing the cabin ventilation fan. You have to remove the dash to get to it so....hence the instructions on removing the dash. This helped me out the first time. Get a Bentley manual too....
Someone mentioned the ventilation ducting in a later thread.....the best way to take care of them is to reach in through the speaker holes and make a nice cut on them with a razor. Be sure to make the cut in a spot that is the most accessible because.....once you re-install everything you are going to patch the cuts with a couple nice wraps of duct tape. That is the best way to handle them....DONT try and remove them from the back of the vent.....you will never get them re-attached.
Do you have an airbag? If so.....just remove the neg. battery cable and make certain the key does not get turned while the airbag is disconnected.
Post back if you have any problems.......have fun.
