If you turn the key and the starter turns the engine over but it doesn't catch, then it may be that your fuel pump has quit. Have someone turn the key to on while you listen under the rear bumper for a high pitched "eeeee" sound. It should come on for a few seconds and then go out if the engine is not running. That sound would be the fuel pump, if you don't hear it then its probably a failed pump. The short (temporary)fix is to pull up the rear trunk floor and tap on the fuel pump housing hoping to move the pump off of a bad spot on its electric motor. It could also be the fuel pump relay (next to the power steering reservoir in that litle clear box). A mechanic can "jump" the appropriate terminals to test it and a new relay is only about $35.
If you turn the key and the starter does not engage, you may have a bad connection at your battery or a bad battery.
Hope this helps.
