1. Not necessarily. Up to the red is normal. Maybe slightly in the red. Middle of the yellow under load indicates base boost.
2. No. SPG will have the Buffalo Grey leather seats and grey interior. Another way to check is that, when compared to a non SPG, it should sit about an inch lower. Honestly, after having owned 2 SPGs, there's nothing so exotic about them that can't be duplicated or superceded by modifying a C900T. A regular 900T can be made to outperform and outhandle a stock SPG with springs, shocks, and a few judicious APC box tweaks. So, dressing up one with a proper body kit isn't so terrible unless you intend to sell it at a Kruse auction or take it to Pebble Beach. There's nothing undesirable about a garden-variety C900T.
I would check to be sure that the front bumper extensions don't have ribs like the standard 900S and 900Ts do - the bumper extensions are expensive.
3. Not always. Some people change the transmission lube regularly and don't beat the transmisisons. Transmission longevity is a combination of luck of the draw, driving style, and maintenance.
