OK, found out recently that i have been driving around for 6 mths with base boost! APC solenoid didn't click-replaced it-all good. Only boost into 3/4 yellow, but it's ok. Few days ago i heard pinking-at the same time as the apc let the boost go-so guess the knock sensor is ok. Started to get a little splutering at high revs and load. Now, i have a damaged area on the coil to dizzy cap wire, but it is insulated. Also, the cap and rotor weren't to cool either. Replaced cap and rotor-couldn't change the lead as they didn't have one-but routed it so as not to jump a spark. New cap etc. and now-NO boost and no pinking! Actually a very little-bad even for base boost. Checked all localised connections-Enyone got any ideas???Really don't know what, or how to check anything with the apc(except solenoid)Help please
