Remove the two grill covers. As you pull up the cover up a metal clip will be seen. Take a screw driver and push this clip so the cover can be removed. You can pull out the plastic air vent tubing. To see the bulbs which are the highest towards the top of the dash you can go around to the front of the windshield and and look in the hole. Usually these bulbs might have have a bad contact which is fixed by turning the bulb holder a little. If burned out, I forget which way the bulb holder rotates but it's 45 degrees one of the directions causing bad contact.
Over time the heat from these bulbs will warp the housing that the bulb sits in creating a bad contact.
One excellent fix is to get a circuit board pen an build up the contacts. Since I have done this, I havn't had any bad bulb contacts.
Also you can drill a vent hole through the plastic housing right above the bulb which will help prevent heat build up and warping of the plastic the bulb twists into.
A really excellent lighting upgrade is to get the Indiglo guage lighting from S/R Motorsport or on E-Bay.
See pic.
Good luck.
Best, KB.
