Not the pinion bearing (which may still need to be replaced, but that's a different thing that won't necessarily cause grinding into reverse), but rather the pilot bearing. This is the bearing that the tip of the clutch shaft goes into. It's pressed into the center hole in the flywheel.
The bearing is cheap - $5 or $6 US (not including shipping) through places like EEuroparts.com opr sobstory.com
It's a standard sized bearing.
