I'd bet that it's the ignition amplifier. Since you have a new crank sensor, that's the next thing in line. It's not impossible that the ECU (fuel management computer) has a problem, but the ignition amp is a very likely suspect and fits the failure mode you've described.
The ignition amp is a little grey electronic device that is directly across from the black spark control box behind the left turn signal.
Darn, I just saw one at my favorite pick-n-pull.
