Here in Los Angeles it's usually the left or right brake caliper that starts to leak on the 88 and up 900, but after seeing an "rust ridden car" a couple of month ago, I suggest to also take a look at the brakelines that are routed on top of the rear axle to left/right caliper.
They might be rusted through.
