The LH 2.2 ECUs have a pretty good track record. This isn't to say that they don't fail, but that's the exception rather than the rule.
Check the NTC sensor resistance. The values should be in the neighborhood of these:
32F.....5800 Ohms
68F(about 20C)......2600 Ohms
176F......320 Ohms
It's also possible that the AMM is failing. I remember from your earlier post that you checked the AMM. As a double check, do you know somebody with an known good ends-in-005 AMM that you can swap in to see if it makes a difference in the way that the car runs?
