Finally drove a c900

I asked a little while back about fair prices on some early 90's 900's. Well, I finally had my chance to drive a 92 900 Turbo, with 120k miles. It was an interesting experience! I picked it up at the dealer, and was warned it had not yet been fixed up and couldn't be sold til it was. Good thing they said that, since the sunroof didn't open, the radio didn't work, the rear suspension tended to crash over bumps, and the window switches were sketchy.
The clutch, tranny, and engine were fine. 900's have a seriously funky set of windshield wipers! Acceleration was terrific, handling was good, and the front seats were roomy. The hatch is awesome. I nearly ran out of gas, added 2 gal at a Sunoco and then had a dead battery. A half hour later I got a jump, returned, and went home in my old Corolla.
As cool as the car was, I think I really need a bigger back seat and a second set of doors for our son & future children. So, I think I'll be perusing the classifieds for a 9000 instead of a 900.
