steering returning to straight ahead position

I recently acquired a free 1985 900 turbo from the classifieds here. I've put some work into it and now it is running and driving again (hasn't run in two years).
Anyway, it drives a bit differently than my 1987 SPG. When I take a slow 90 degree corner in my SPG, the steering wheel returns to the straight ahead position by itself. In my 1985 turbo, it seems to want to stay turned - it really doesn't center itself.
The tire pressure is fine and the power steering is not stiff and is working properly. Could this behavior be caused by the lack of anti-sway bars on the 1985?
Any suggestions as to what is causing this? Is it normal?
Thanks,
Karl
