Well.... The hard way would be to remove the dash face section.... PITA. Another way is to remove the stereo (head) unit, some of the swithes (AC, Recirc, Hazard, etc) and see if you can feel for it and pull it clear.... You have to look at the wires.... I can't remember exactly, although all I know was I disconnected the screws holding the dash face in place (Bentley manual explains this part very well). Then lifted out from the bottom very gently and not all the way cause the steering wheel was in the way. Took a look up there and I was able to figure out what to pull to access the bulbs and reconnected/replaced them. Note this approach can be messy, plus you'll disconnect the heater control knob if you take this approach. Again the Bently manual explains this very well, but I think it suggests you take off the steering wheel as well.... Painfull process. Good luck!
