I recently replaced the top on my '88 900T Convertible. I'm pretty happy with everything. However, the first bow above the front seats isn't perfect. The top isn't perfectly centered on the bow and I'm getting a small ripple on the driver's side (top is attached to the bow just barely off center to the driver's side). I got rid of some of it this weekend, buy redoing the corner where the top connects to the front windshield bow. However, it's still not perfectly flat and I'm concerned water will continue to pool above the ripple when it rains hard. So, to solve this I obviously need to undo that second bow and get everything aligned properly (that part is easy, but I'll probably have to take the whole front apart again). Is there any trick to doing this without having to take the front of the top all apart again? I don't want to have to redo the whole front portion. I don't however see an easy way to get this straightened out any other way.
