I have an automatic '86 900S (that's the 3-speed). I use it on the highway a lot. It's given me no problems at all, but I was just wondering...
If I am cruising at 3500 rpm, I'll be at about 67 mph. This seems to be comfortable for the car. Anyone think 3500 is too high to be at for 3 or more hours? Would 3000 be any kinder to the car relative to 3500? Would 4000 be pushing it? The engine is strong, but I just want to be as kind as possible it.
Has anyone else thought of this before, or am I just insane?
