I recently wrecked my exhaust on a friend's driveway entrance, and am now assessing the damage. Ironically, I was headed into his back yard to inspect the exhaust because it had started to leak (noise and fumes). The driveway entrance saved me the trouble of crawling under the car by knocking the exhaust system into 3 pieces.

The downpipe (from turbo to cat) and the tailpipe need to be replaced, but I'm worried about the catalytic converter itself. It seems to be in perfectly useable condition, except for the fact that it no longer has the square 4-bolt flange to connect the downpipe. The round flange is intact and in good shape.

Any exhaust experts out there? What do I need to do to be able to bolt the cat back onto a downpipe? Do I need to get something welded on, or is there a "split" flange that fits around the round flange?

I took some photos, but my photo host seems to be down right now.

The car is an '86 SPG, 240,000 miles, stock downpipe, cat, and centerpipe, MSS muffler and tailpipe.
