Second that, saved me far more than the $75/yr it costs for the premium-whatever level service. With a simple car like our 8v's, you can scarcely ever guess what oddball part will fail unexpectedly. The only sys in that car that's both let me down and been road-repairable is cooling sys. Therefore I keep the old t-stat from last change and a gallon of water in the trunk and some hose tape; that and extra of basic fluids. Otherwise, to carry more I just find myself driving a car full of junk parts around for nothing :o) I drive my '85 all over creation without battting an eye.
