Still sounds like a tank issue. I assume you got a new cap with the tank, but maybe a bad one(rare).
The small nipple in the front of the tank is fragile and easily cracked and that hose can split. Check connection at top of radiator, too.
I'd have her fill it up with coolant and idle the car for 1/2 hour and look for the leak.
The only other thing I can think of is a leaky radiator on that side. If while idling there is no leak at tank area or hoses, but drips up front under the car, it's probably the radiator. I'll bet a bottle of radiator stop leak will seal up the hole, worth a try while she's at school. Purists will scorn this stuff, but it can seal up big stone holes in radiators and last forever. When she gets home you can toss in a new radiator and reflush the system to be 100% sure. Easy job, and radiators from sobstory 800-583-0370 are inexpensive and you'll get a good one from Jim.
