a squirrel had made a home between the head cover and the injection manifold. Started the engine and spewed nest bits into the air. Irony, part of it was made with hair balls from whenever I groomed my labradors. That squirrel had labrador hair carpetting in his home. Probably slept quite cosy all winter.
So far I got on my list of problems after a year of being parked...
- a clutch master cylinder needing a rebuild (course it was dying before it sat there anyways, it just gave up the ghost finally while parked).
- 4 disc rotors that need to be removed and have the rust ground off, likely going to need either new pads or the pads ground a bit too.
- a door that needs replacing (the handle rusted completely off on the right rear passenger)
- a new o2 sensor (stupid emission testing laws in ontario now)
- a new resonator and tail pipe
- 4 tires (they went completely flat and the casings cracked and split) which fortunetly I already have
I could also use some new rims as the ones I got just don't seal at all anymore (either that or its tubes for all 4 tires). Gonna check with a friend who runs a salvage yard and has about 30 Saab alloy rims stacked in his lot. Must be something that fits my 89's hubs.
