It could be the crank pulley that have seperated.
It is two different screeching sounds depending on if it's the belt or the crank pulley slipping.
A seasoned Saab mechanic hear the difference instantly between the two.
The oil leak could very well be from behind the crank pulley (oil pump seals).
BUT, since you have the 2.1L non turbo engine, the oil leak could also be a failing cylinder head gasket and the oil leaks out between timing chain cover and the cylinder head.
