Just thought you might be interested to see what FINALLY fixed my intermittent CE light. The code was nearly always 12223 (running lean - suggests vacuum leak, AMM, O2 Sensor). The light would normally come on after I had stopped for petrol or some other short stop where the engine was off for a few minutes. It would then stay on for ten or twenty minutes of driving and then go off again! This had been in and out of the dealer for months - new ECU, new O2 sensor, etc, etc. Finally fixed by replacing the petrol cap. You can tell if this is causing the problem by putting a small piece of plastic bag under the cap and tightening it down carefully not to rip the plastic.... Hope this helps someone :-) I'm HAPPY...
