I have the same damn problem. I have no tach responce to go with it. I've replaced the coil, fuel pump,(Before I learnd about the fuse 27 to 30 trick) Fuel filter, ECU, ICU, and some fuel relays. I think I got some water in the dis cap. I found a leaking hose right by the dis. Plus it shut down on me twice after it rained. I mess around with the halls but never found anything. Have you tried any of the above items. Also look at the gound wires at the lower right hand side. Behind the radidator and in front of the battery. Then there's another gound source by the fuel rail.
You can not use the parts from 87 car. That has to do with the ing. it's diffrent. Luckly I have an 85 900t 4 door. To go with my baby. 85 900t hatchback. The 4 door is my parts car. Jake E-Mail me and maybe we can work something out. As far as cheap parts. I also have some parts on e-bay as it is.
