(not that there is anything wrond with that)...(figured that would get your attention!)I would just KISS Street, Jon, Greg D, KeithG, George Chiassion and especially Jimmy for helping me out with my transmission woes. But seeing that I am NOT gay, I will just have to say a huge, hearty THANK YOU! I am STOKED beyond words! I put everything back together after finding the snap-ring dislodged and I now have my baby back! The coming out of gear thing WAS the fact that I had the rear cover off and the detent spring and ball were not doing their job. This car has been sitting for ~6 months because I was SURE I had to swap trannies. What a load off that I don't have to pull the engine out (not to mention saving big $$). After dinkin with the 85 trans. I am sure it is viable too, so I have a spare! I was also able to see close hand all the Saab idiosyncracies while pulling out the 85 engine. All I can say is the internet (and this BB) is amazing! Thanks so much!! Brian
