I just completed replacing my head after having a blown gasket. I could take my time since I had another car. I used the Bentley manual and information from a website http://www.pastonroot.co.uk/wright/headgr.htm.
I labeled everything, put bolts and parts into labeled zip lock bags. and used a pen that would write on metal to mark orientation of parts. I took dozen of digital pictures before and during the work. I also Had 18 months experience in fixing one thing after the other on the car so I knew what the parts were and what they did. The most difficult part to remove for me was the right engine mount/power steering backet. Next most dificult were the backets for the air conditioner compressor. Buy a book, label everything and remember to label wires before you disconect them.
