I have vague recollection of your previous series of posts on the subject.
Refresh my vacation-addled memory -
How old are the spark plug wires? Is it cold and damp where you are? How old is the fuel pressure regulator? How old are the spark plugs?
I had a no-start on my '88 900S (16-valve n/a) similar to what you describe, on a cold, damp winter's day. Changing the spark plugs took care of it. The plugs in the car appeared to be OK (gap was normal, etc.)
Sometimes, the plugs can get enough carbon built up on the porcelains to conduct the spark to ground along the inside surface of the plug instead of jumping the gap. New plugs may help.
One thing that can help when the plugs are wet is to pull the plugs, pull the fuel pump fuse, and crank it to try to dry out the cylinders. This may work for you.
