But easy enough to put a more or less non directional finish on the rotors. Use a small sanding pad and run it over the rotor while the rotor is turning, use the engine/trans with car up on jackstands. 3M makes them specifically for brake disks. If you can't get to the back of the disk, remove and replace the disk inside out and do the do.
That being said, I've never seen one or more of these 'vinyl record' rotors where the cut was so severe to cause this but I guess anything is possible.
Further, I fail to see the correlation between wheel frequency and the needle track since the needle tracks would be many times the wheel rotation and more likely to incur a buzz if they were truly dragging the pads inward (or outward) to the point of the U-pins being flexed and then popping back. It simply wouldn't be at wheel frequency.
Something else is loosening as the wheel turns....hey...sounds like a soap opera, as the wheel turns....
