Sander, you don't use a hammer to depress the pin. Where is your old key? Why isn't THAT available? If your claiming that a screwdriver, or something like that was forced in, allowing a thief to turn the ignition and take your car, I find that very hard to believe. The lock tabs to the ignition switch would break, even if the reverse interlock gear was removed. If this is a legitimate posting, You can use the same method to turn the lock as a thief did, and gently depress the pin as you turn and lift the lock to remove it. You will need to get an ignition gear set, and you will have to remove those nuts to do the job. There is a simple reason these cars don't get stolen, people try it the wrong way and render the car useless. As you said, there are plenty of postings on this subject, so I haven't given you any tips you couldn't find on your own. You stated you live in Holland, and Saabs are popular, are we talking about Holland Massachusetts?
