disconnect the high pressure line from the rack to the power steering reservoir. IIRC it's the small one at the top of the reservoir. Be careful not to crack off the nipple cuz then you have to replace the reservoir. BTW, now is a good time to empty the reservoir and clean it out good with mineral spirits and a rag...there always seems to be a sludge on the bottom of the resevoir on old cars.
Plug/cap the nipple on the reservoir and splice the hp line into another piece of hose because you're going to run that hose into a 2-3 gallon bucket. The idea is to idle the engine and pour a gallon or so of ATF or power steering fluid (your choice, some people like GM power steering fluid, I like amsoil synthetic ATF, not the type F, just normal synthetic for Dexron) into the reservoir and let the hydraulic pump flush the system...it helps to have the car up on jackstands so you can easily turn the wheels back and forth and get all the stuff out of the rack.
I did mine without splicing a hose into the hp line and there was enough slack IF I removed the reservoir and temp relocated the reservoir inside the engine bay and then I could take the hp line to a (much) smaller bucket inside the engine bay.
Be careful idling the engine...it squirts a LARGE amount of hydraulic fluid very quickly. You could probably just turn the engine on and off relatively quickly.
Some people also flush by just removing the fluid in the reservoir, topping up with new fluid, and running the engine/turning the wheels left and right a couple times, and then removing and replacing the fluid in the reservoir about 5 times. This works too...doesn't hurt to suck the fluid out of the reservoir at oil changes and replace it at that time, maybe a pint or so of new fluid every oil change.
