Had a local mechanic looking at my car the other day because of a sometimes brake fluid leak. He says underneath the resevoir are two rubber seals that need replacing. I haven't had the opportunity to check it out yet though. The leak isn't always consistent, but it has been happening more and more lately. Coicidentally, the weather has been colder and colder.
Firstly, is he right about the two rubber seals, and secondly, does it make sense that with the cold weather, they're constricting, allowing fluid to leak?
