Get the Bently - no more than $35 (try half.com)
eeuro #0216531 Repair manual (8v) $49.50
Get a pressure bleeder - no more than $45
eeuro #PB100 Brake bleeder $44.90
go to one of the sponsers and get the parts. I just got a box from eeuro, so that's why I'm giving them the plug

The 7 piece kit from eeuroparts is $220.
#8781346A Clutch kit (7 piece) $219.50
Get a clutch master $95 - it'll fail within 30 days of doing your clutch, so get dirty once.
#8944977 CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER $94.90
replace the hose from the brake master to the clutch master and zip tie it on.

That's about $215....
When you do this remove the brake master - it just gets in the way.
Get 2 qt of good break fluid and flush the brakes out as well.

Go to sears and get a set of metric flare nut wrenches (I dare you to booger up the brake line nuts with these - about $50 maybe lots less - get your 10% off with a coupon from Sundays paper).

Heck, get one of these too, you prabably need it.

We're up to $215+$10 in brake fluid+$50 Sears+$101 master = $376

Still have money to spend.....

I have the stuff I just took off mine - even have the lifetime warranty from my friends at Advance.

But, you could get them
$85 a side - you have to dig up the later set of yokes - think I paid $10 at the salvage yard.


I hope you get my point - You can do sooooo much more when you DIY. If you are in Atlanta and need help, drop me a line.

This would put $275 in your pocket and you did both masters.
If you don't think you have the tools - a $275 budget is a good start.
With the Bently, you'll save yourself tons of $$ as your mechanical skill and confidence improoves.

Just look at all of the questions answered daily here.

BTW - Thanks for everones help in the past and I'm sure she'll break again soon.
