ouch I was afraid of that. thing is, the engine now has about 80k on it but it was rebuilt at about 60k, why I have no idea. The head gasket should be fairly newish then and though I myself use pentosin coolant in all of my cars, I doubt the fella that had the car before my parents did really new or cared.
for a 92t in pretty good shape with hardly any rust and about 80k on the engine, worth the rebuild?
I also have read that the 3 speed auto tends to fail alot, with 160k or so on it, it should be feeling its age. I would hate to fix the engine only for the trans to go.
