Longer cranking to start after fuel filter change....

I read the earlier post on this from December, it only said it could possibly be in wrong or a vaccuum line was knocked off. I did the change myself so i know i have it in the right way, also, what vacuum lines did they mean? Not any in the engine, right? Either way, the only thing I can think of is that the lines werent torqued down hard enough. Could cause some sort of air to enter the fuel lines and depressurize between trips??? I notice the longer the time between trips, the more time needed to crank the engine back up...any help is appreciated..
